COVID-19 Updates ~ We will be hosting our "fully supported" camps, but have changed our format due to the coronavirus pandemic. In order to ensure everyone's safety while on the camp, we will require all participants to wear masks during shuttles to/from trailheads. This is not an option, it is mandatory. In addition, our support vehicles will no longer be "self serve" communal stops. Only your guide will be allowed to handle water, drinks and foods. Your guide will be wearing PPE at all times while handling food and drinks. All drinks and foods will be pre-packaged, individually wrapped and single use servings. If you would like to bring your own refueling/rehydrating needs, you may pack them in your personal bag, leave them in the support vehicle and have access to them at our designated support stops. As always, we will have disinfecting hand wipes and hand sanitizer available at every support stop. All participants will be required to sign a COVID-19 risk acknowledgment and liability waiver prior to the start of the camp. Trail Running Escapes offers you four and five day trail running camps in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains high above Malibu in southern California, the famous Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California and the stunning Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona ~ our newest destination trail running camp. Camps are offered September through June when the rest of the country is under a blanket of snow or chilled by the cold air. The Westlake Village Inn is our base camp for the Santa Monica Mountains camps; including the most popular Backbone camp. The Mammoth Mountain Inn is our base camp for the 4 days of the Mammoth Mountain camp and Los Arbrigados Resort is our base camp for the 4 days of the Sedona camp. Erica is an accomplished endurance athlete, RRCA, USAT&F and Natural Running certified coach as well as a local trail Race Director. She is also a founding member of the Conejo Valley Trail Runners and local "trail expert" to the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Erica has lived near the Santa Monica Mountains for over a decade and knows the trails intimately. She is passionate about these trails she calls home and wants to share them with you.

Our trail running camps are fully supported ~ We have a support vehicle to rehydrate and refuel you along the way and schlep your layers, extra bottles...whatever you need. Our trail guides are local, knowledgeable trail runners...and happy. Did we mention happy? Daily route sheets are emailed to you for everyday. Our camps are designed so you can run every mile, partial mileage or add on more. Your camp. Your choice. We've done all the work, so all you have to do is run!!!
