LODGING/CAMPING

Trail Running Escapes operates under permit by Coconino National Forest
HOW TO REGISTER?
Thank you to our amazing Partners!
Celebrate Earth Day
with us in
the Red Rocks of Sedona!
Sedona is a "must see" destination place, so hotel prices tend to be higher. An alternative location, Cottonwood, offers lower priced lodging and is about 25-45 minutes away from each day's race start respectively. We suggest the Hampton Inn & Suites Cottonwood.
Rather Camp?
Here is where we suggest:
Dead Horse Ranch
(tent, RV or cabins)
or
Rancho Sedona RV Park
(no tent camping)
Traveling in your Adventure van or RV?
Sedona offers several locations for free dispersed camping. Check out: Loy Butte Road/Forest Road 525 (closest) or North Bill Gray Road. Both accessible off 89A.
AirBnB is also a great option for friends sharing accommodations or a family who may need more space. Book early, because Springtime is high season here!
April 18, 2026
Races start at 6 AM
Interested in volunteering? We'd love to hear from you :)
Please email us at: trailrunningescapes@gmail.com
Sedona boasts world-famous red rocks, nearly 2 million acres of Coconino National Forest land, as well as refreshing Oak Creek and the Verde River. As part of the Sedona community, we cherish these spaces and want to care for them so that everyone can enjoy them for generations to come. That is why Trail Running Escapes has partnered with the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, and businesses and organizations across the city to protect this magnificent landscape by inspiring visitors and residents to care for our outdoor spaces. In order to protect these treasures, we ask that you practice Sedona’s Leave No Trace principles and make your promise by taking the Sedona Cares Pledge at SedonaCares.com.

Trail Running Escapes proudly supports Arielle's Light. A nonprofit organization dedicated to shining hope on mental health struggles, breaking stigma, and making therapy accessible for youth and young adults aged 13–25.
💜 Arielle was a beacon of light—a compassionate friend, a driven soul, and someone who always cared for others. But behind her bright smile, she struggled silently with her mental health.
Her story is not unique. Too many young people face barriers to mental health care—financial hurdles, stigma, and fear of judgment.
At Arielle’s Light, they’re turning those barriers into bridges. Please email them at: hello@arielleslight.com if you would like to donate money, services or you need assistance yourself. We're all in this together!
