Day 2 will be no walk in the park, especially after Day 1. This is when you realize if it was easy, everyone would do it. You're not everyone! So tighten your laces, suck back a gel and get ready to knock out another 19 miles. Wrap your head around this one, because it will require all you've got. Not to worry though, because we've got you covered; both on trail and off.

Day 3 will be one of the easier days on the camp as far as hills and mileage, but on tired legs you may start to question your commitment to today's 15 miles. That's why we'll be at every juncture to remind you. So suck it up buttercup and smell the scent of your sweet victory with only. Three down. One to go!!!

The last day of your camp will conclude with an approximate 16 mile downhill run from the highest peak in the Santa Monica Mountains to one of the most scenic sections of the Backbone Trail ~ Ray Miller Trail. We will celebrate our victories with a gathering at the beach. So pack a towel and suit if you want a dip in the ocean to recover your legs. Cheers to you!!!

monday - day 4 - mishe mokwa to ray miller - 16 miles

sunday - day 3 - kanan to mishe mokwa - 15 miles

saturday - day 2 - stunt/schueren to kanan - 19 miles

What you get? Every day we will shuttle from our host hotel, the Westlake Village Inn, in Westlake Village to our day's trail head start location. You will be accompanied by knowledgeable, local trail runners, issued a trail map of the day's section, and met along the way by our support van for refueling and rehydrating while on the trail. At the conclusion of each day, we'll celebrate your accomplishments at the beer cooler and shuttle back to our host hotel...then do it all over again the next day! Just good times and great memories. Each runner is responsible for their own hotel accommodations, ground transportation to/from airport and breakfast & dinner.

Day 1 of our Backbone Trail Camp will start in beautiful Pacific Palisades at Will Rogers Historic State. You will climb for the first six miles, so rest your legs; this day will be the greatest elevation gain of all four days. By the afternoon you will have run the first 18 miles of the Backbone Trail. We will finish at the top of Saddle Peak Road where your day will end as it started ~ with an ocean view. Congratulations!!!

friday - day 1 - will rogers state historic park to topanga state park - 18 miles
